![]() yup you can use (64 65 soft backed seats ) 66(hard backed) dart buckets, I think 64 65 66 barracuda's/valiants but have the softer cardboard backer. With that being said if you not worried about going correct. you can see it in the lower part of the first picture. and probably a lot more that I don't know about on the 68's View attachment 1968-dodge-dart-gts-interior.jpgīucket seats for the 1966 gt have a hard back instead of the cardboard back covered in vinyl. Here's a 68 style interior that I found ion the web. my 66 has a oval boot on the linkage and the 67's (I think) have the round one similar to the e bodies View attachment !BW)QyVQBWk~$(KGrHgoH-C0EjlLlu15ZBKY9bihWcw~~_12.jpg shifter linkage is slightly different from 66 to 67 but should work also. steering wheel is a 2 spoke some have just a cap like memikes(I like that style but it's a plymouth thing I think.). so the dash will look different than the 270 style. but it's a GT style and I think a later console, with stripe. some have the stripe down the middle and some don't and I don't remember which is which. If you don't need it factory correct then you can use later years console. So if you're looking for a coordinated, complete, and powerful hardtop, don't miss this Dart.NICE car (but I might be biased since I have 2 66's myself:glasses7 The three-speed automatic transmission, wide BF Goodrich T/A tires, and front disc brakes make it a solid driver.Ĭomplete with owner's manual, this is a distinct-looking classic that also follows the best idea of a big motor in a small package. Even with all its street-eating power, this Dart is still a comfortable way to get around. And long tube headers add more power while feeding the very straight pipes of the Cherry Bomb dual exhaust. There's an aluminum radiator w/electric fan to help keep it all running cool. It's also been upgraded with performance parts such as a Holley four-barrel carburetor, Mopar air gap intake, and Mopar fined valve covers. ![]() So that's why the block is so bold and ready to be displayed. This is particularly special because those who know Darts remember that a motor this large would not be a factory option until the next generation. Wedged underneath the hood is a 360 cubic-inch Mopar V8. It's in everything from the vintage-style low-back bucket seats, to the addition of the large Mopar Performance tach on the steering column. But while you'll love this for a well-done classic, you also know this was built for performance. And there's an overall feeling of quality, right down to the window felts. It's also thoughtful in the details with plenty of premium wood-like trim, a center console, factory A/C controls (system currently not installed), and even a later Mopar AM/FM digital tuner w/cassette cleanly installed. Even the trunk is complete in matching blue carpeting. The same white and blue two-tone of the exterior continues inside to deliver the kind of thoughtful appearance we love on a 1960s classic. ![]() It's also thoughtful in the details with plenty of premium wood-like trim, a center console, factory A/C controls (system currently not installed). And these had some of the most intricate trim around with a line that starts at the tailfin-like ornaments, and it runs all the way up the car and wraps around the pillarless hardtop. Wide shining chrome bumpers, upgraded polished Rally-style wheels, and the artful GT emblems on the C-pillar all gave this is a great classic American look. It adds a truly premium and memorable touch to this Dart. Only adding to the cool factor is this white hardtop has a distinctive metallic blue roof. We love this year Dart because it combines some wide-stance features with jet-inspired styling. Not only will this 1966 Dodge Dart GT get you the rumble you want, but also it's a detail-oriented classic with a quality appearance. The best way to stand out in the vintage car crowd is to find an uncommon classic with a big motor. 360 V8 W/ AUTO, FRONT DISCS, GR8 RUNNING & DRIVING MOPAR, CLEAN WHITE/WHITE LOOK ![]()
